Product Designer, Illustrator, Enthusiast
I’m a product designer that enjoys solving complex design problems and combining usability and aesthetics to create magical user experiences. I value collaboration, creativity, curiosity, and constant learning (and alliteration).
Most recently, I worked as a UX/UI Designer at EyeQue, where I designed human-centered solutions in the mobile health space, including their #1 app, PDCheck AR.
I graduated from San Jose State University in December 2019 with a Master of Science in Human Factors & Ergonomics with a concentration in Human-Computer Interaction. While working on my degree, I worked as a UX Designer at McAfee for 2 years, where I designed mobile cybersecurity solutions for parents and kids.
Thanks to my diverse background that includes cognitive science and digital illustration, I am knowledgeable about how human cognition impacts a person’s interactions with interfaces, along with how to make those interfaces visually aesthetic while keeping business goals in mind. My academic research background also helps me in conducting user research to inform my designs, utilizing my research findings to create impactful designs that are data-driven and user-focused.
I call myself an enthusiast because I am obsessive - when I am interested in a subject, I will learn all I can about it. I never stop learning! My current obsessions are video production, bullet journaling, and flexibility training.
